Mastering the Barbell

Our Services are expanding. CrossFit, Kettlebell Class, and our Athlete S&C programs have been staples of CFSS. But we now have a new class we are excited about. We will now be offering our Barbell Club on Saturday mornings at 11:00 am.

We will be focusing on Olympic lifts like the snatch and clean and jerk. These two lifts can be difficult to master, and with the limited time we have in our daily classes, technique can be hard to perfect. With a highly focused attention to mechanics and slowing each movement down, we hope to help you better understand each lift. We will structure each class with a strength component and then accessory movements to complement the main focus that day. This class will help you better understand the more complex movements that you will see in a CrossFit class. There will be no conditioning in these classes, they will always feature the barbell.

This class will align with CFSS overall programming and offer a great supplement for our current members that have an interest in Olympic lifting or would just like to better learn the techniques to assist when we olympic lift in our CrossFit classes. So whether your goals are increased performance or to just learn better mechanics, this class is good fit to you.

Crossfit M-F 6:00 am, 8:30 am, 12:00 noon, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, & 6:00 pm

KettleBell Class M-TH 7:00 pm

Athlete S&C M-TH 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm & Sat 10:00 am

Barbell Club Sat. 11:00 am

Yoga Sat 8:00 am
