The CrossFit Open. It’s a time to really put your fitness to the test, and challenge to see how much all your hard work in the gym has paid off. These weekly tests are challenging, will likely leave you laying on the floor gasping for air, but the atmosphere is electric. Being cheered on by your fellow gym mates, pushing yourself for one more rep, and earning bragging rights when you hit a big PR makes it all worth it.
The CrossFit Open is back on 10/10. We will be hosting the Open workouts every Friday night from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, you can drop in at any point in that time frame, there will not be the typical class start times. Be prepared to work hard, but also plan to stay and help judge at least one workout for someone else. The music will be loud, Andy will likely be taking embarrassing photos of our mid-workout faces, and there will be lots of high fives to go around.
We will be having a teams competing against each other based on attendance and scores, and friendly smack talk is highly encouraged. After the 5 weeks is up, we will have a party after the last workout.
We hope to have a huge turnout every Friday, this is one of the most fun parts of the year for CrossFit.
